The CMR is the transport document used in international road carriage of goods under the CMR Convention (Geneva, 1956). It evidences the contract of carriage, the carrier taking over the goods and the terms of delivery.
It is normally issued in three original copies: one for the sender, one that travels with the goods and one for the carrier. The sender and the carrier sign it, and the consignee confirms receipt on delivery.
The Convention applies in more than 50 countries. CMRPro helps you fill in these copies correctly and print them. The service does not replace legal or customs advice.
